War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses…

There isn't a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.

It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism…

I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street.

The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.

During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. Amen, General Butler.  War is a racket and if there ever was a shining example of that it is what is going on in Ukraine.  The Oligarchs in congress are up to their eyeballs in pillaging Ukraine and have been since the beginning.  The hot bed of corruption known as the United States congress are the enemies of the American people.  They serve only their bankrolling masters.  The real reason President Trump is being impeached is that he has stumbled onto uncovering the real perpetrators of the corruption in Ukraine.  From F. An American Oligarch‘s Dirty Tale of Corruption

Rarely does the world get a true look inside the corrupt world of Western oligarchs and the brazen manipulations they use to enhance their fortunes at the expense of the public good. The following comes from correspondence of the Hungarian-born billionaire, now naturalized American speculator, George Soros.

The hacker group CyberBerkut has published online letters allegedly written by Soros that reveal him not only as puppet master of the US-backed Ukraine regime. They also reveal his machinations with the US Government and the officials of the European Union in a scheme where, if he succeeds, he could win billions in the plunder of Ukraine assets. All, of course, would be at the expense of Ukrainian citizens and of EU taxpayers…

In the longest memo, dated March 15, 2015 and marked “Confidential” Soros outlines a detailed map of actions for the Ukraine regime. Titled, “A short and medium term comprehensive strategy for the new Ukraine,” the memo from Soros calls for steps to “restore the fighting capacity of Ukraine without violating the Minsk agreement…”

Soros also calls for supplying lethal arms to Ukraine and secretly training Ukrainian army personnel in Romania to avoid direct NATO presence in Ukraine…

Naked asset grab

In his March 2015 memo Soros further writes that Ukrainian President Poroshenko’s “first priority must be to regain control of financial markets,” which he assures Poroshenko that Soros would be ready to assist in: “I am ready to call Jack Lew of the US Treasury to sound him out about the swap agreement.”

He also calls on the EU to give Ukraine an annual aid sum of €11 billion via a special EU borrowing facility. Soros proposes in effect using the EU’s “AAA” top credit rating to provide a risk insurance for investment into Ukraine.

Whose risk would the EU insure?

Soros details, “I am prepared to invest up to €1 billion in Ukrainian businesses. This is likely to attract the interest of the investment community. As stated above, Ukraine must become an attractive investment destination.” Not to leave any doubt, Soros continues, “The investments will be for-profit but I will pledge to contribute the profits to my foundations. This should allay suspicions that I am advocating policies in search of personal gain. “

For anyone familiar with the history of the Soros Open Society Foundations in Eastern Europe and around the world since the late 1980’s, will know that his supposedly philanthropic “democracy-building” projects in Poland, Russia, or Ukraine in the 1990’s allowed Soros the businessman to literally plunder the former communist countries using Harvard University’s “shock therapy” messiah, and Soros associate, Jeffrey Sachs, to convince the post-Soviet governments to privatize and open to a “free market” at once, rather than gradually.

Naftogaz the target

The Soros memo makes clear he has his eyes on the Ukrainian state gas and energy monopoly, Naftogaz. He writes, “The centerpiece of economic reforms will be the reorganization of Naftogaz and the introduction of market pricing for all forms of energy, replacing hidden subsidies…”

In an earlier letter Soros wrote in December 2014 to both President Poroshenko and Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, Soros openly called for his Shock Therapy: “I want to appeal to you to unite behind the reformers in your government and give your wholehearted support to a radical, ‘big bang’ type of approach.

That is to say, administrative controls would be removed and the economy would move to market prices rapidly rather than gradually…Naftogaz needs to be reorganized with a big bang replacing the hidden subsidies…”

Splitting Naftogaz into separate companies could allow Soros to take control of one of the new branches and essentially privatize its profits. He already suggested that he indirectly brought in US consulting company, McKinsey*, to advise Naftogaz on the privatization “big bang.”

The Puppet-Master?

The totality of what is revealed in the three hacked documents show that Soros is effectively the puppet-master pulling most of the strings in Kiev. Soros Foundation’s Ukraine branch, International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) has been involved in Ukraine since 1989.

His IRF doled out more than $100 million to Ukrainian NGOs two years before the fall of the Soviet Union, creating the preconditions for Ukraine’s independence from Russia in 1991. Soros also admitted to financing the 2013-2014 Maidan Square protests that brought the current government into power.

Soros’ foundations were also deeply involved in the 2004 Orange Revolution that brought the corrupt but pro-NATO Viktor Yushchenko into power with his American wife who had been in the US State Department.

In 2004 just weeks after Soros’ International Renaissance Foundation had succeeded in getting Viktor Yushchenko as President of Ukraine, Michael McFaul wrote an OpEd for the Washington Post. McFaul, a specialist in organizing color revolutions, who later became US Ambassador to Russia, revealed:

Did Americans meddle in the internal affairs of Ukraine? Yes. The American agents of influence would prefer different language to describe their activities — democratic assistance, democracy promotion, civil society support, etc. — but their work, however labeled, seeks to influence political change in Ukraine…

Soros shapes ‘New Ukraine’

Today the CyberBerkut hacked papers show that Soros’ IRF money is behind creation of a National Reform Council, a body organized by presidential decree from Poroshenko which allows the Ukrainian president to push bills through Ukraine’s legislature. Soros writes, “The framework for bringing the various branches of government together has also emerged.

The National Reform Council (NRC) brings together the presidential administration, the cabinet of ministers, the Rada and its committees and civil society. The International Renaissance Foundation which is the Ukrainian branch of the Soros Foundations was the sole financial supporter of the NRC until now…”

Soros’ NRC in effect is the vehicle to allow the President to override parliamentary debate to push through “reforms,” with the declared FIRST PRIORITY BEING PRIVATIZATION OF NAFTOGAZ and raising gas prices drastically to Ukrainian industry and households, something the bankrupt country can hardly afford.

In his letter to Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk, Soros hints that HE PLAYED A KEY ROLE IN SELECTION OF THREE KEY NON-UKRAINIAN MINISTERS—Natalia Jaresko, an American ex- State Department official as Finance Minister; Aivras Abromavicius of Lithuania as Economics Minister, and a health minister from Georgia.

Soros in his December 2014 letter, referring to HIS PROPOSAL FOR A “BIG BANK” PRIVATIZATION OF NAFTOGAZ AND PRICE RISE, states, “You are fortunate to have appointed three ‘new Ukrainian’ ministers and several natives (sic) who are committed to this approach.”

Elsewhere Soros speaks about de facto CREATING THE IMPRESSION within the EU that the current government of Yatsenyuk is finally CLEANING OUT THE NOTORIOUS CORRUPTION that has dominated every Kiev regime since 1991. Creating that temporary reform illusion, he remarks, will convince the EU to cough up the €11 billion annual investment insurance fund…

While saying that it is important to show Ukraine as a country that is not corrupt, Soros reveals he has little concern when transparency and proper procedures block his agenda. Talking about HIS PROPOSALS TO REFORM UKRAINE’S CONSTITUTION TO ENABLE PRIVATIZATIONS and other Soros-friendly moves, he complains, “The process has been slowed down by the insistence of the newly elected Rada on proper procedures and total transparency…”

George Soros, now 84, was born in Hungary as a Jew, George Sorosz. Soros once boasted in a TV interview that he posed during the war as a gentile with forged papers, assisting the Horthy government to seize property of other Hungarian Jews who were being shipped to the Nazi death camps.

Soros told the TV moderator, “There was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was–well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in markets–that if I weren’t there–of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would.”

This is the same morality apparently behind Soros’ activities in Ukraine today. It seems again to matter not to him that the Ukrainian government he helped bring to power in February 2014 US coup d’etat is riddled with explicit anti-semites and self-proclaimed neo-Nazis from the Svoboda Party and Pravy Sektor.

George Soros is clearly a devotee of “public-private-partnership.” Only here THE PUBLIC GETS FLEECED TO ENRICH PRIVATE INVESTORS LIKE MR. SOROS and friends. Cynically, Soros signs his Ukraine strategy memo, “George Soros–A self-appointed advocate of the new Ukraine, March 12, 2015.”

*The consulting company Soros brought in to split up Noftogaz, McKinsey is the previous employer of Mayor Pete Buttigieg who is running for the Democratic Party’s nomination for President.  If Mayor Pete replaces Trump, you can be sure he won’t be holding up money for lethal weapons for Ukraine.

In the Soros manifesto he talks about investing up to “€1 billion in Ukrainian businesses” to attract the investment community into Ukraine.  But Soros’ intentions aren’t to benefit the people of Ukraine it is like Smedley Butler said “It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.”  Soros’ idea of investing in business in Ukraine are companies like Bayer, formerly Monsanto.  From Stalker Zone 2018:

Monsanto Brings Its Carcinogenic Production to Ukraine

According to the Ukrainian president, the country is experiencing an investment boom, and one piece of proof of this is the opening of a super-modern seed plant of the German corporation Bayer, which took place recently in the Zhytomyr region.

However, in reality the “German investor” appeared to be the American company “Monsanto”, which has a very bad reputation worldwide because of the use of GMO and cancerogenic herbicides.

“The investment boom happening in Ukraine serves as bright confirmation of the trust that foreign investors have in our country,” pathosly said Poroshenko on his Twitter, having illustrated the “investment breakthrough” with footage of the sorting of corn cobs at the enterprise of the “powerful European investor”…

These investments confirm the resolute commitment of the Bayer company to Ukraine. It is planned to expand the activity of the plant and also deliveries to the foreign markets in the future,” it is said in the press release of the German company.

However, the investment project, grandiose by Ukrainian standards, turned out to be not the case when trousers “turn into elegant shorts”, after all, it became German relatively recently, namely after Bayer finished the merger with the American corporation of Monsanto in the summer of last year. Before this happened, investments were presented as “American”.

“Monsanto in 2018 plans to start a seed plant in the Zhytomyr region. The new seed plant, which will make high-quality corn seeds, will be opened in the Zhytomyr region in 2018. The plant will be better than the equivalent ones in the US,” it was noted in the information in the media dated 2017. 

The American Monsanto’s acquisition by the German Bayer helped to get rid of the toxic name of the American company in press releases, but it didn’t change its essence.

Monsanto has tried to expand its activity in Ukraine for a long time. Thus, the company declared the construction of a plant in 2013 in the Vinnytsia region with a volume of investment at the level of $140 million. On this territory it was planned to construct a seed plant, a logistic center, and also the accompanying infrastructure.

But back then the American company faced the negative reaction of the public of the city, which opposed the construction of a plant by a corporation possessing a doubtful reputation around the world.

In particular, in their homeland, in the US, “Monsanto” is widely known as an “unwanted neighbor”. The pesticides production plant in Anniston for more than 40 years deliberately dumped toxic waste into the river that ran through the city, which became the reason for mass death and disease among residents.

Scientific figures of the region unambiguously spoke against the construction of the plant too. “The problem is that it isn’t authentically known what exactly they plan to produce there,” said the professor and head of the botany, genetics, and physiology of plants department of the Vinnytsia agricultural university Vasily Mamalyga to the “20 minutes“ publication.

Without having received distinct explanations from the company concerning the details of the project, Vinnytsia officials were compelled to refuse to cooperate with “Monsanto”. The tender for the sale of Vinnytsia land wasn’t completed — all three attempts were unsuccessful.

But the transcontinental giant isn’t used to being refused, and it decided to transfer construction to another region, namely to the Zhytomyr region, which was declared already after the “revolution of dignity”…

The arrival of the “powerful investor” consecrated by Poroshenko will hardly please the inhabitants of Zhytomyr, because near by they received a rather dubious enterprise.

For example, the London newspaper “The Telegraph” noted that in 2015 in England and Wales the quantity of new oncological diseases exceeded the number of babies who were born to first-time mothers. And the largest charitable organisation Macmillan Cancer Support claimed that every day 980 citizens of Her Majesty are diagnosed with a malignant tumor. And the most awful thing is that the time will come when, with high probability, every second English person falls ill with this dreadful disease during their lifetime.

The carcinogens provoking malignant tumors are numerous, but the most dangerous source of evil is already known. It is herbicide glyphosate. Colin Todhunter, the British journalist, sociologist, and leader of the “EAST BY NORTHWEST” website, directly calls it one of the key reasons for the beginning of a cancer epidemic.

He is guided by the 19-page report of the well known ecologist Dr. Rosemary Mason, which includes convincing proof of the slow intoxication of the inhabitants of Wales by the production of the American company Monsanto, mainly glyphosate.

But Kiev doesn’t think of this. The most important thing is that news about investments became the next decoration on the list of “victories” on Poroshenko’s Twitter. Well, about the fact that “German” investments aren’t German at all, but very dubious American ones, and only the packaging changed – there is no need to present this to the local public. Although, it might be possible to not even hide it. Well, they will “kick up a fuss and then forget about it” – as one Ukrainian politician put it.

Yep, war is a racket.  Trump is being impeached for holding up the money congress allotted to fund George Soros’ plunder of Ukraine.  What a racket indeed.   Soros wouldn’t be able to achieve his goals in Ukraine if he hadn’t bought off powerful members of congress, like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry.  The U.S. State Department has Soros’ back. 

As the Soros manifesto commands, the U.S. must “create the impression that the current government is cleaning out the notorious corruption in Ukraine.”  But in fact Biden et al’s cleaning out corruption was an illusion.  From TheHill:

US Embassy pressed Ukraine to drop probe of George Soros group during 2016 election

While the 2016 presidential race was raging in America, Ukrainian prosecutors ran into some unexpectedly strong headwinds as they pursued an investigation into the activities of a nonprofit in their homeland known as the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC).

The focus on AntAC — whose youthful street activists famously wore “Ukraine F*&k Corruption” T-shirts — was part of a larger probe by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office into whether $4.4 million in U.S. funds to fight corruption inside the former Soviet republic had been improperly diverted.

The prosecutors soon would learn the resistance they faced was blowing directly from the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, where the Obama administration took the rare step of trying to press the Ukrainian government to back off its investigation of both the U.S. aid and the group.

“The investigation into the Anti-Corruption Action Center (sic), based on the assistance they have received from us, is similarly misplaced,” then-embassy Charge d’ Affaires George Kent wrote the prosecutor’s office in April 2016 in a letter that also argued U.S. officials had no concerns about how the U.S. aid had been spent.

At the time, the nation’s prosecutor general had just been fired, under pressure from the United States, and a permanent replacement had not been named.

A few months later, Yuri Lutsenko, widely regarded as a hero in the West for spending two years in prison after fighting Russian aggression in his country, was named prosecutor general and invited to meet new U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

Lutsenko told me he was stunned when the ambassador “gave me a list of people whom we should not prosecute.” The list included a founder of the AntAC group and two members of Parliament who vocally supported the group’s anti-corruption reform agenda, according to a source directly familiar with the meeting.

It turns out the group that Ukrainian law enforcement was probing was co-funded by the Obama administration and liberal mega-donor George Soros. And it was collaborating with the FBI agents investigating then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s business activities with pro-Russian figures in Ukraine.

The implied message to Ukraine’s prosecutors was clear: Don’t target AntAC in the middle of an America presidential election in which Soros was backing Hillary Clinton to succeed another Soros favorite, Barack Obama, Ukrainian officials said.

“We ran right into a buzzsaw and we got bloodied,” a senior Ukrainian official told me.

Lutsenko suggested the embassy applied pressure because it did not want Americans to see who was being funded with its tax dollars. “At the time, Ms. Ambassador thought our interviews of the Ukrainian citizens, of the Ukrainian civil servants who were frequent visitors in the U.S. Embassy, could cast a shadow on that anti-corruption policy,” he said… 

In the end, no action was taken against AntAC and it remains thriving today. Nonetheless, the anecdote is taking on new significance.

First, it conflicts with the State Department’s official statement last week after Lutsenko first mentioned the do-not-prosecute list. The embassy responded that the claim was a fabrication and a sign that corruption is alive and well inside Ukraine.

But Kent’s letter unequivocally shows the embassy did press Ukrainian prosecutors to back off what normally would be considered an internal law enforcement matter inside a sovereign country. And more than a half-dozen U.S. and Ukrainian sources confirmed to me the AntAC case wasn’t the only one in which American officials exerted pressure on Ukrainian investigators in 2016…

Second, the AntAC anecdote highlights a little-known fact that the pursuit of foreign corruption has resulted in an unusual alliance between the U.S. government and a political mega-donor.

After the Obama Justice Department launched its Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative a decade ago to prosecute corruption in other countries, the State Department, Justice Department and FBI outsourced some of its work in Ukraine to groups funded by Soros.

The Hungarian-American businessman is one of the largest donors to American liberal causes, a champion of the U.S. kleptocracy crackdown and a man with extensive business interests in Ukraine.  One key U.S. partner was AntAC, which received 59 percent (or $1 million) of its nearly $1.7 million budget since 2012 from U.S. budgets tied to State and Justice, and nearly $290,000 from Soros’s International Renaissance Foundation, according to the group’s donor disclosure records. 

The U.S.-Soros collaboration was visible in Kiev. Several senior Department of Justice (DOJ) officials and FBI agents appeared in pictures as participants or attendees at Soros-sponsored events and conferences.  One attendee was Karen Greenaway, then the FBI supervisor in charge of international fraud cases and one of the lead agents in the Manafort investigation in Ukraine. She attended multiple such events and won glowing praise in a social media post from AntAC’s executive director.

In one event during 2016, Greenaway and Ambassador Yovanovitch participated alongside AntAC’s executive director, Daria Kaleniuk, and Lutsenko was present. The message was clear: The embassy supported AntAC.

The FBI confirmed Greenaway’s contacts with the Soros group, saying they were part of her investigative work: “In furtherance of the FBI’s mission and in the course of their duties, FBI employees routinely travel and participated in public forums in an official capacity. At a minimum, all such travel and speaking engagements are authorized by the employee’s direct supervisor and can receive further authorization all the way up to the relevant division head, along with an ethics official determination.”  

Greenaway recently retired, and Soros’s AntAC soon after announced she was joining its supervisory board.

Internal memos from Soros’s umbrella charity organization, Open Society Foundations, describe a concerted strategy of creating friendships inside key government agencies such as State, DOJ and the FBI that can be leveraged inside the countries Soros was targeting for anti-corruption activism…

That same memo shows Soros’s organization wanted to make Ukraine a top priority, starting in 2014, and planned to use the Anti-Corruption Action Centre as its lead…

“Ukraine: Behind the scenes advice and support to Ukrainian partner Anti-Corruption Action Centre’s efforts to generate corruption litigation in Europe and the U.S. respecting state assets stolen by senior Ukrainian leaders,” the memo states.

The memo included a chart of Ukrainians the Soros team wanted to have pursued, including some with ties to Manafort.

Senior U.S. law enforcement officials confirmed to me that the early kleptocracy collaborations inside Ukraine led to highly visible U.S. actions against the oligarch Dmitri Firtash, a major target of the Soros group, and Manafort. Firtash is now represented by former Hillary Clinton lawyer Lanny Davis and former U.S. Attorney Dan Webb.

Documents posted online by Open Society Foundations show that after U.S. officials scored some early successes in corruption cases in Ukraine, such as asset forfeitures, AntAC requested to receive some of the seized money…

Michael Vachon, a spokesman for Soros, deferred any comment about AntAC to the group. But he did he confirm his boss supported the continued investigation of Russia collusion allegations against Trump well past 2016.

Vachon said Soros wrote a sizable check from his personal funds in fall 2017 to a new group, Democracy Integrity Project, started by a former FBI agent and Senate staffer Daniel Jones to continue “investigation and research into foreign interference in American elections and European elections.” 

Vachon said the group asked Soros not to divulge the size of his contribution, and Soros later learned the group hired Fusion GPS, the same firm that was paid by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic Party to create the infamous “Steele dossier” alleging Trump-Russia collusion…

Yes, war is a racket.  As Smedley Butler said, “It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.”  The American military is used by these racketeers as a “high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, the military are used as racketeers and gangsters for capitalism. 

President Trump has tried to end this situation and that is why he was impeached by the gangsters for capitalism in the U.S. government.  Let’s hope he can stay strong and fight off the gangsters and racketeers and save America.  Amen

Hunter, a coke addict with no experience in the oil and gas industry, was appointed to Burisma’s board while Papa Joe Biden was serving as Obama’s point man on the 2014 British/American Ukraine coup and its aftermath, pocketing a cool $3 million, according to the President’s attorney Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani has also said that he has asked Ukraine for a full accounting of the Ukrainian state interference in the 2016 U.S. election on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

The whistleblower complaint at the center of this faux controversy is said to involve multiple conversations by the President with foreign leaders about which the whistleblower is “concerned,” although he or she is said to have direct knowledge of absolutely none. The President has adamantly denied any quid pro quo in the specific conversation cited or that he has done anything wrong and has had the transcript of his call with Zelensky declassified and will present it in full publicly on Sept. 25.

So President Trump declassified the transcript of the phone call with Zelensky, but that’s not good enough for the rabid Dems.  No, the oligarch controlled congress doesn’t want a transcript of the call they want the Deep State created “whistleblower complaint” released to congress.  Now that is rich, given the Obama Administration’s history of prosecuting whistleblowers on espionage charges when their complaints involve the illegal actions of the Deep State spooks.   From Whistleblower.org:

Kiriakou further exposed the CIA’s torture program and the CIA’s deception about torture even to its own employees in his 2009 book, The Reluctant Spy: My Secret Life in the CIA’s War on Terror.

Government Accountability Project (GAP) National Security & Human Rights Director Jesselyn Radack, a Department of Justice (DOJ) whistleblower herself, represented National Security Agency (NSA) whistleblower Thomas Drake, the first individual indicted by the Obama administration under the Espionage Act FOR DISCLOSING MASSIVE WASTE, FRAUD, ABUSE AND ILLEGALITY AT THE NSA Through proper channels. The DOJ case against Drake fell apart days before the trial was set to begin last summer, in what was widely seen as a bellwether case for future prosecutions, like that of Kiriakou.

“John Kiriakou is the new Thomas Drake,” stated Radack, continuing, “And the case against Kiriakou is just as flimsy as the one against Drake. The Obama administration’s unprecedented use of the Espionage Act to target whistleblowers sends a chilling message to any national security worker considering blowing the whistle on corruption and wrongdoing. Inexplicably, Kiriakou’s indictment was sealed until today. Radack added, “It is outrageous that John Kiriakou – the whistleblower – is the only individual to be prosecuted in relation to the Bush administration’s torture program. The interrogators who tortured prisoners, the officials who gave the orders, the attorneys who authored the torture memos, and the CIA agents who destroyed the interrogation tapes have not been held professionally accountable, much less charged with crimes.

When you lose control of the narrative, when you spin a story out of whole cloth all you can do is double down. This is what the Democrats are doing in the case of Ukraine.  They have to stay on the offensive against Trump because if they don’t their lead candidate (yeah, right!) for President is disgraced. So, the natural thing to do is, Alinsky-like, accuse Trump of the very thing that Joe Biden did and was caught on tape braying about like the jackass he is.

It is over this that Trump is to be impeached?

Daring to reveal the truth about an issue of real corruption in a country deeply implicated in the fake collusion story originally intended to remove him from the Oval Office? This somehow hits the standard of High Crimes and Misdemeanors?

It does when we live in a world ruled by men, not laws.

Trump was, for all intents, acquitted already in any obstruction of justice charges over RussiaGate. So how is his exhorting a foreign counterpart to look into real corruption committed by someone highly-connected to a former U.S. Vice President anything other than him doing his job?

It is his job to prosecute malfeasance of government officials is it not?

Trump’s move to release the un-redacted transcripts of the phone call was the right move. And the Democrats’ continued pursuing of this will likely make them look like morons.  But here’s the rub. Take a lesson from the British fiasco. The whole process through the courts was a sham. The conclusion was foregone the moment the challenge was filed to Johnson’s proroguing of Parliament.

The rest was theater because the Supreme Court was always going to decide this way.

So guess what? The Democrats would not be pushing for this if they ddin’t think they have the votes in the House and the Senate to get this done. Ignore the conventional wisdom on this. They were wrong in the UK. 

They will be wrong here, unless Trump has something else up his sleeve.

His removing John Bolton and refusal to attack Iran is driving the neoconservatives to apoplexy. They want their holy war against the apostate Shi’ites and they will get it. Mike Pence will be their avatar until such time as he can be removed through a sham election in 2020.  If this wasn’t the case they wouldn’t be risking what’s left of their political future defending a senile old man, Joe Biden, who they don’t actually want to be the candidate anyway.

It’s a coup folks.

And the full court press is on in this coup for your sanity and to radicalize you into violence. They are daring us to strike back here so then they can be justified in going on full lockdown and cancel future elections.  They have to do this. Their financial markets are in the early stages of collapse. The dollar liquidity crisis has started which will drain Europe of its life blood.

This has the feel of those months leading up to Bear Stearns’ dissolution which culminated in Lehman Bros. in 2008, which broke the engine of the world.

The elite reacting this way is predictable. They were always going here. But the problem is that while you can make something awful legal, it doesn’t make it right. And people know what’s right and what is fair. Breaking the compact between rulers and the ruled sets a dangerous precedent for reciprocal violence.

Because overthrowing a President for doing his job and destroying government to nullify a democratic referendum are points of no return.

Brits and Americans alike are learning the terrible lesson that it is time to put away childish things like representative government and that elections matter. THEY DON’T. You will be presented with nothing but Hobson’s Choices from here forward.  The image you hold in your head of your country is not the reality of the one you live in.

Soon after the Ukraine-gate "whistleblower" complaint was made public, questions about the source's knowledge and background began to rise, as one former CIA officer noted very specifically:

The way this complaint was written suggested the author had a lot of help. I know from my work on the House Intel Commitee staff that many whistleblowers go directly to the intel oversight committees. Did this whistleblower first meet with House Intel committee members?

My view is that this whistleblower complaint is too convenient and too perfect to come from a typical whistleblower. Were other IC officers involved? Where outside groups opposed to the president involved?

This complaint will further damage IC relations with the White House for many years to come because IC officers appear to be politicizing presidential phone calls with foreign officials and their access to the president and his activities in the White House.  Worst of all, this IC officer -- and probably others -- have blatantly crossed the line into policy.

The NYTimes, of course, puts its spin on the news, claiming that the whistle-blower's expertise will likely add to lawmakers' confidence about the merits of his complaint. However, given the current state of affairs, we suspect it will simply remind a deeply divided nation of the bias and prejudice that exists behind the President's back.

Washington Post owner receives $600 million contract from the CIA

Editor’s note: The Washington Post was the first to run the story of the CIA’s claim that Russia hacked the US election, of which there is absolutely no evidence.

It’s been a rough couple days for The Washington Post. Word emerged that hackers invaded its internal system—for a few days, no less—all of its staffers had to change their passwords as the company tried to figure out how much data had been compromised.

Meanwhile, a petition campaign was launched related to news that Amazon, under the Post’s new owner, Jeff Bezos, recently secured a $600 million contract from the CIA. THAT’S AT LEAST TWICE WHAT BEZOS PAID FOR THE POST THIS YEAR. Bezos recently disclosed that the company’s Web-services business is building a “private cloud” for the CIA to use for its data needs.

Critics charge that, at a minimum, the Post needs to disclose its CIA link whenever it reports on the agency. Over 15,000 have signed the petition this week hosted by RootsAction.  In a statement released by the Institute for Public Accuracy, media writer/author Robert McChesney observes:

When the main shareholder in one of the very largest corporations in the world benefits from a massive contract with the CIA on the one hand, and that same billionaire owns the Washington Post on the other hand, there are serious problems. The Post is unquestionably the political paper of record in the United States, and how it covers governance sets the agenda for the balance of the news media. Citizens need to know about this conflict of interest in the columns of the Post itself.

If some official enemy of the United States had a comparable situation—say the owner of the dominant newspaper in Caracas was getting $600 million in secretive contracts from the Maduro government—the Post itself would lead the howling chorus impaling that newspaper and that government for making a mockery of a free press. It is time for the Post to take a dose of its own medicine.”

Bezos personally and publicly touts Amazon Web Services, and it’s evident that Amazon will be seeking more CIA contracts. Last month, Amazon issued a statement saying, “We look forward to a successful relationship with the CIA.”

So there you have it. A mysterious stranger from the lying, torturing, propagandizing, drug trafficking, assassinating, coup-staging, warmongering, psychopathic CIA was working in the White House, heroically provided the political/media class with politically powerful information out of the goodness of his heart, and then vanished off into the Langley sunset. In all seriousness, even to call this spook a “whistleblower” is ridiculous on its face. You don’t get to call someone from the US intelligence community a whistleblower unless they are actually whistleblowing on the US intelligence community. That’s not a thing. A CIA officer who exposes information about government officials is an operative performing an operation unless proven otherwise, because that’s what the CIA does; it liberally leaks information wherever it’s convenient for CIA agendas while withholding all other information behind a veil of government secrecy.

A CIA officer who exposes information about CIA wrongdoings without the CIA’s permission is a whistleblower. A CIA officer who exposes information about someone else is just a spook doing spook things. You can recognize the latter by the way the mass media supports, applauds and employs them. You can recognize the former by the way they have been persecuted, imprisoned, and/or died under mysterious circumstances…

While all this political/media class cheerleading for whistleblower protections is going on, the most prominent whistleblower in America remains imprisoned for taking a principled stand against secret grand juries while being driven into crippling debt. Chelsea Manning is still racking up fines of $1,000 per day while locked in a Virginia federal detention center for refusing to testify against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The mainstream press that is so keen to champion a “whistleblower” who works for the CIA and provided information which feeds into America’s fake partisan pro wrestling feud has been almost completely silent on the actual whistleblower who exposed actual US war crimes.

“The courageous whistleblower Chelsea Manning has now been held in a federal detention center in Alexandria, Virginia for more than six months,” reads a recent article by World Socialist Website, one of the only news outlets to consistently report on Manning’s plight. “MANNING HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED WITH OR COMMITTED ANY CRIME. Pelosi represents what belligerent, plutocratic, oligarchic, increasingly totalitarian rule is all about, notably contemptuous of nations on the US target list for regime change — Russia, China and Iran topping the list.  On Friday, she falsely accused Russia of involvement in Ukrainegate, a failed Russiagate scam spinoff with no legitimacy, supported by undemocratic Dems and their echo-chamber media.

Repeating the long ago debunked Russian US election meddling Big Lie that won’t die, she falsely accused Moscow of “ha(ving) a hand in this.”   Referring to the Ukrainegate scam, she offered no evidence backing her accusation because none exists.  During a Friday press conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Sergey Lavrov slammed Pelosi’s Big Lie, saying:

“Russia’s been accused of all the deadly sins, and then some. It’s paranoia, and I think it’s obvious to everyone.”

It’s unacceptable anti-Russia hate-mongering, what goes on endlessly, Cold War 2.0 raging.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the following on her facebook page:

“Speaker of the lower house of Congress Nancy Pelosi believes that Russia is involved in the scandal over July telephone conversation between us and Ukraine Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky.”

“This (baseless) assumption was made on Friday…Pelosi (not) explaining what it means, and without providing evidence of her words.”  “Considering that it was Nancy Pelosi who caused the ‘Scandal around the telephone conversation between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine,’ then, according to the speaker’s logic, Russia attached the hand to her.”

What’s going on is continuation of the most shameful political chapter in US history, ongoing since Trump took office, along with railroading Richard Nixon.  Both episodes represent McCarthyism on steroids – supported by establishment media, furious about Trump’s triumph over Hillary, targeting him largely for the wrong reasons, ignoring plenty of right ones.

Mueller’s probe ended with a whimper, not the bang Dems wanted, Ukrainegate their second bite of the apple to try discrediting Trump for political advantage ahead of November 2020 elections.  That’s what Russiagate and Ukrainegate are all about.

The Untold Story of the Trump-Ukraine ‘Scandal’: The Routine Corruption of US Foreign Policy

The most crucial aspects of the Trump-Ukraine “scandal,” which has led to impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump, are not being told, even by Republicans.  Trump was very likely motivated by politics if he indeed withheld military aid to Ukraine in exchange for Kiev launching an investigation into Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden, though the transcript of the call released by the White House between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelinsky does not make certain such a quid-pro-quo.

But what’s not being talked about in the mainstream is the context of this story, which shows that, politics aside, Biden should indeed be investigated in both Ukraine and in the United States.

We know from the leaked, early 2014 telephone conversation between Victoria Nuland, then assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, and Geoffrey Pyatt, then U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, that then Vice President Biden played a role in “midwifing” the U.S.-backed overthrow of an elected Ukrainian government soon after that conversation.

That’s the biggest crime in this story that isn’t being told. The illegal overthrow of a sovereign government.

As booty from the coup, the sitting vice president’s son, Hunter Biden, soon got a seat on the board of Ukraine’s biggest gas producer, Burisma Holdings. This can only be seen as a transparently neocolonial maneuver to take over a country and install one’s own people. But Biden’s son wasn’t the only one.

A family friend of then Secretary of State John Kerry also joined Burisma’s board. U.S. agricultural giant Monsanto got a Ukrainian contract soon after the overthrow.  And the first, post-coup Ukrainian finance minister was an American citizen, a former State Department official, who was given Ukrainian citizenship the day before she took up the post.

After a Ukrainian prosecutor began looking into possible corruption at Burisma, Biden openly admitted at a conference last year that as vice president he withheld a $1 billion credit line to Ukraine until the government fired the prosecutor. As Biden says himself, it took only six hours for it to happen.

Exactly what Biden boasted of doing is what the Democrats are now accusing Trump of doing, and it isn’t clear if Trump got what he wanted as Biden did.   

Threats, Bribes and Blackmail.

 That leads to another major part of this story not being told: the routine way the U.S. government conducts foreign policy: with bribes, threats and blackmail.

Trump may have withheld military aid to seek a probe into Biden, but it is hypocritically being framed by Democrats as an abuse of power out of the ordinary. BUT IT IS VERY MUCH ORDINARY.

Examples abound. The threat of withholding foreign aid was wielded against nations on the UN Security Council in 1991 when the U.S. sought authorization for the First Gulf War. Yemen had the temerity to vote against. A member of the U.S. delegation told Yemen’s ambassador: “That’s the most expensive vote you ever cast.” The U.S. then cut $70 million in foreign aid to the Middle East’s poorest nation, and Saudi Arabia repatriated about a million Yemeni workers.

The same thing happened before the Second Gulf War in 2003, as revealed by whistleblower Katharine Gun (who will appear Friday night on CN Live!). Gun leaked an NSA memo that showed the U.S. sought help from its British counterpart in signals intelligence to spy on the missions of Security Council members to get “leverage” over them to influence their vote to authorize the invasion of Iraq.

In 2001 the U.S. threatened the end of military and foreign aid if nations did not conclude bilateral agreements granting immunity to U.S. troops before the International Criminal Court.

More recently, THE U.S. USED ITS MUSCLE AGAINST ECUADOR, INCLUDING DANGLING A $10 BILLION IMF LOAN, IN EXCHANGE FOR THE EXPULSION OF WIKILEAKS FOUNDER JULIAN ASSANGE FROM ITS LONDON EMBASSY.

This is how the U.S. conducts “diplomacy.”

As former UN Secretary General Boutros Boutros Ghali wrote:

“Coming from a developing country, I was trained extensively in international law and diplomacy and mistakenly assumed that the great powers, especially the United States, also trained their representatives in diplomacy and accepted the value of it. But the Roman Empire had no need for diplomacy. Nor does the United States. Diplomacy is perceived by an imperial power as a waste of time and prestige and a sign of weakness.”

This fundamental corruption of U.S. foreign policy, which includes overthrowing elected governments, is matched only by the corruption of a political system that exalts partisan political power above all else. Exposing this deep-seated and longstanding corruption should take precedence over scoring partisan scalps, whether Biden’s or Trump’s.

Yes, that is where we are today.  America is being dragged through an impeachment inquiry not because President Trump did anything out of the ordinary, but because he had the audacity to expose the hypocrisy of America’s foreign policy.  The Spooks are going insane and are pulling out all the stops to impeach President Donald Trump before the 2020 presidential election. 

They simply cannot take a chance that Donald Trump will be reelected.  The Deep State’s presidential candidate, the self-proclaimed Zionist Joe Biden hasn’t been able to garner support from the American people so he has to play the victim card.  The very idea that Donald Trump has to solicit assistance from the newly elected President of Ukraine to beat the hapless, corrupt life-long politician Joe Biden is laughable.  What a crock.  Well guess what folks, Trump is a fighter.  Trump used to travel in those same circles that Biden is in, he knows the game and he’s going to fight. 

It’s going to be a bare knuckle brawl and all the CIA’s media will try to redeem the Biden crime family so hold on to your seats, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.  Let’s see who is going to be the last man standing.
