BBC Europe’s recent headline was Ukraine conflict: US 'may supply arms to Ukraine' well I guess the
Devil is in the Details. So what are
those details?
Excerpt:
President Barack Obama says the US
is studying the option of supplying
lethal defensive arms to Ukraine if diplomacy fails to end the crisis
in the east…
Wow, talk about my way or the highway, seems like some
rather lofty rhetoric after all just a week ago the headlines in Press TV were US ‘involved in criminalactivities’ in Ukraine.
Excerpt:
The Obama administration is
“involved in criminal activities” in Ukraine and facilitated last year’s “coup
d'état” in Kiev, a former US Senate candidate says…..
“And of course this whole situation
in Ukraine permitted the United States to continue the encirclement policy of Russia
that has been going on since the end of the Cold War ,” he told Press TV on
Monday.
In an interview with CNN on Sunday,
US President Barack Obama admitted that, “We had brokered a deal to transition
power in Ukraine” since Russian President Vladimir Putin “made this decision
around Crimea and Ukraine.”
Dankof cited Assistant Secretary of
State for European and Eurasian Affairs
Victoria Nuland who revealed last year that Washington had invested about $5 billion to promote “democracy” in
Ukraine.
That $5 billion investment to “promote
democracy” has killed over 5,000 in Ukraine has been paid back in spades,
starting with the stolen gold reserves of Ukraine being flown to the Federal
Reserve Bank of New York. From MSNBC International:

Ukraine’s Gold Reserves Secretly Flown Out and Confiscated by the New
York Federal Reserve?
Michel Chossudovsky (CRG) : A
Russian Internet news site Iskra (“Spark”) based in Zaporozhye, eastern
Ukraine, reported on March 7, that “Ukraine’s
gold reserves had been hastily airlifted to the United States from Borispol
Airport east of Kiev”….
Those who saw this mysterious
special operation immediately notified the airport officials, who told the
callers not to meddle in other people’s affairs.
Later a returned call from a senior
official of the former Ministry of
Revenue reported that tonight, on the orders
of one of the new leaders of Ukraine,
the United States had taken custody of all the gold reserves in Ukraine.”
And Russia is right to be concerned about the encirclement
policy the illegitimate government in the United States is implementing in the
Balkans, through the CIA, NATO and Monsanto’s mercenary army the
ex-Blackwater. From Global Research:
Excerpt:
NATO defense ministers are meeting
in Brussels today to consolidate the military
alliance against Russia, increasing the risk of a direct military
confrontation between nuclear-armed powers.
NATO sources have revealed plans to
establish a long-term presence in Eastern Europe, according to a report in the
Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAS). So-called NATO “Force Integration
Units” will be established in Estonia,
Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. There are also plans to
deploy such a unit in Hungary at a later time….
NATO’s nuclear simulations underscore the fact that the imperialist
powers are ready to risk nuclear war in order to force Russia to its knees.
In the past week, a number of prominent figures, including former Soviet head
of state Mikhail Gorbachev, have warned
of the danger of a Third World War if NATO, led by the United States, continues
to take aggressive measures against Russia.
Under conditions of escalating
fighting between troops of the Western-backed Kiev regime and pro-Russian
separatists in eastern Ukraine, Gorbachev
warned of a “hot war” that “could well inevitably turn into an atomic war….”
The terrorists that overtook the U.S. Government on December
12, 2000 are like rabid dogs, there’s no reasoning with them, there’s no
reigning them in.
In spite of such warnings, the imperialist powers and their proxies in
Kiev are escalating the conflict. On Monday, the New York Times revealed
that the Obama administration is considering sending advanced weapons to Kiev. The newspaper listed
high-ranking current and former administration officials and military officers
who are pushing for such a move.
Who do you suppose those “high-ranking current and former
administration and military officers are that are PUSHING for atomic war? Where are these warmongers going to find Ukrainian
or for that matter U.S. civilians that want to go to war to protect billionaire
kangaroo governments? Or as CounterPunch puts it:

On the Road to Mass Terror? When Ukrainians Choose Not to Die in a War by
DMITRY KOLESNIK
“Imagine all the people, living life in
peace.” Maybe John Lennon’s famous musical lyric can be called naive, but it’s
a hopeful vision all the same. Antiwar protests, mass soldier desertions,
refusal to serve and fight in defiance of government orders and
repression—these have stopped many wars once people decide there is nothing
righteous in killing their fellow humans.
The current war situation in
eastern Ukraine and the decision of the government in Kyiv to begin a new, fourth wave of military conscription and
mobilization is unleashing a firestorm of mass opposition and refusal to fight.
Protest is rising in all the regions of the country.
You know if the U.S. supplies lethal weapons, what kind of
weapons are they going to put on Russia’s border, and who will be using those
weapons paid for with funds stolen from Social Security, Medicare, education and
infrastructure?
Ukraine is historically a peaceful
nation. For some time now, it has avoided military conflicts like those that
have flared elsewhere in Eastern Europe—Yugoslavia, Georgia, etc. That came to
a crashing end last year when the Kyiv
government launched its ‘anti-terrorist operation’ against the people in the
east of the country.
But from the beginning of the
conflict, Ukraine has seen refusals by
soldiers to fire on their fellow citizens, desertions from the army and
refusals to show up for conscription. Women—the mothers, wives, sisters and
daughters of military conscripts—have held protests and even riots against the
war or against force military service.
Remember the RAND Corporation’s Plan for Poroshenko?
Excerpt:
Ukrainian President uses RAND corporation plan in eastern Ukraine
This
Memorandum on the advisable course of
action automatically means that peace
plan confirmed by Ukrainian
President Petro Poroshenko fails.
The document provides three stages of a military operation in
eastern Ukraine.
The first stage implies total isolation of the region considering that all local citizens are terrorists or
sympathizers.
Region should be encircled with
troops and sealed off entirely from any flow of goods and persons. Broadcasting services, Internet connection,
telephone and mobile communications in the region shall be shut down.
The second stage is named Mop-up. Ground
assaults shall be preceded by air
strikes against the strategic facilities. The use of non-conventional arms is allowed.
The document also provides for internment camps outside the
cleared settlements. People featuring
traces of combat engagement shall be tried in court for terrorism.
During the third stage Back to Normal power supplies and communications shall
be restored. The borders shall be strengthened to avoid possible provocations. All the refugees should be checked for
possible support for separatists in internment camps.
Who will fight the war in Ukraine? If you can’t find indigenous people willing
to die for an oligarchy, and there’s only so many mercenaries, then I guess you
have to resort to nuclear war.
…. many people don’t want to die
for the current government which they view as composed of extreme nationalists
and neoliberals. They are unwilling to
be cannon fodder dying for the interests of Ukrainian oligarchs whose only
apparent interest is to pursue a civil war, siphon Western financial aid and
suppress opposition to their rule…
The astonishing fact that almost no
one is coming voluntarily to the military recruitment offices in this fourth,
latest round of conscription is causing panic in the government and top army
command of Ukraine. They are appealing, as always, to patriotic and nationalist
sentiments, but this is falling increasingly on deaf ears.
Really the illegitimate U.S. installed government in Kiev is
having a hard time “appealing to patriotic and nationalist sentiments, I wonder
why. So why is Poroshenko the Chocolate King failing to feel the love, heading
up the “democratic Paradise” brought them by the CIA? Perhaps this article in The Guardian can shed
some light:
Excerpt:
Kommunar, east Ukraine: ‘Nothing to eat, nothing to do, no point in
life’
Life in Kommunar was never easy;
the last thing the depressed mining settlement needed was a war. The conflict
that ripped through the Kommunar in recent months, as elsewhere in eastern
Ukraine, has added to existing social woes to create both a short-term
humanitarian disaster and a longer-term problem of how Ukraine can reintegrate
the territory after the pain and suffering of war.
With little money, little food and
few medicines, people in the town are eking out a miserable existence, and most
blame Kiev for their predicament.
So while the U.S. is pushing more sanctions against Russia
and threatening to openly arm mercenaries with semi-nuclear weapons to attack
Russia, is Putin shaking in his boots?
Is Putin starving his people, selling off Russian’s assets, slashing
pensions, opening his country to Monsanto for exploitation to pay for war like
the U.S. is? Guess not, from TheGuardian:
Excerpt:
Russian president Vladimir Putin
has flown to Cairo for a two-day visit, in a move nominally aimed at bolstering
bilateral ties with Egypt that also allows both countries to send pointed
messages to the US.
As Russian and western diplomats
struggle to reach a peace deal over the conflict in Ukraine, Putin will spend
Monday evening at Cairo’s opera house. In
meetings on Tuesday, the day before the resumption of Ukraine peace talks,
Putin is expected to hold discussions about ending the use of the US dollar in bilateral trade between Egypt and
Russia….
Analysts believe both sides, though
interested in forming stronger relations, primarily seek to signal to the international community that their foreign
policies are not to be dictated by others.
In a telling development, hundreds
of posters of Putin were put up across Cairo this weekend, emblazoned with the
word “Welcome”. Many pro-regime Egyptians are fond of Putin for his
unconditional public support for Egyptian president Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, and
this weekend Egypt’s flagship state newspaper printed a long feature about
Putin that called him “a hero of our era”.
Hmm, so that is how Putin is greeted in Egypt,
how is America viewed in Egypt? Not
well, back in 2013 Egypt was the recipient of the U.S. government’s “promotion
of democracy.” From Info Wars:

EGYPTIAN PROTESTERS BLAME OBAMA FOR MORSI DICTATORSHIP
Images seldom broadcast on
mainstream media networks reveal a wave of anti-Obama fervor has gripped Egypt
as demonstrators blame the White House for helping to install Mohamed Morsi,
the Muslim Brotherhood leader who could be toppled later today.
The protests in Egypt have largely been characterized by the media
as representing an even split between
pro-government Muslim Brotherhood advocates and the anti-Morsi opposition
movement, despite the fact that the anti-Morsi demonstrations have been far
larger.
However, one aspect of the
demonstrations that has been almost completely ignored is the fact that Egyptians
firmly lay the blame for Morsi’s calamitous year in office at the feet of the
White House….
Egyptians are fully cognizant of the fact that the Obama administration
played a key role in contriving the revolution that toppled former
President Mubarak. Signs held by
protesters include, “Wake up America, Obama backs a fascist regime in Egypt,”
“Obama Supports Terrorism,” and “Obama
Your Bitch is Our Dictator.” The signs also condemn the role of Anne
Patterson, the US Ambassador to Egypt.
Yes, America’s illegitimate government is spreading peace
and prosperity all over the world on the tip of a sword. From Collective Evolution:

Is Russia Anti-illuminati?
It is a riddle, wrapped in a
mystery, inside an enigma.” That memorable phrase came from the mouth of
Winston Churchill, during a speech he gave to the British Parliament in 1939,
when trying to describe Russian action.
Today, the characterization of
Russia holds no cloud of mystery and its motives are clear. Prince Charles and
Hilary Clinton have compared Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, to Adolf
Hitler. President Obama has declared Russia one of the three major threats that
face the world today, along with the terrorist group ISIS and the Ebola disease….
But is this hostility warranted? An
obvious “yes” would be said by anyone who accepts Western media as honest,
unbiased journalism when they report on Russia’s actions in Ukraine and its
involvement in that crisis…
Is there anyone left in the world that accepts Western media
as honest?
The hypocrisy America is showing by
condemning the actions of Russia has to be eroding what little credibility
America has left in the world.
Here is a country that has over
1000 military bases, in 130 countries and is directly involved in the internal
conflicts of 74 nations. (9) America’s imperialistic foreign policy is
incredibly ruthless and destructive all around the world, but as soon as Russia
gets involved with a conflict occurring in its neighbouring country, America
objects, and denounces Russia for violating international law.
Russia hasn’t violated international
law, but in a world where America is the loudest voice, it acts as both accuser
and judge.
So how are those peace talks going? Will a peace treaty be signed? Will America cause a nuclear war for
imperialism? From Yahoo News:

MINSK, Belarus (AP) — The leaders
of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine negotiated into the early hours Thursday
to try to find a way to halt the fighting in eastern Ukraine that has killed
more than 5,300 people.
The talks on ending the conflict
between Ukrainian forces and Russia-backed separatist rebels came amid intense
anxiety over the sharp spike in fighting in recent weeks, as Europe nervously awaits word on whether Washington will send lethal
aid to Ukraine…
— Drawing a new line of division: Ukraine wants the same one that was agreed
upon in September, while Russia wants a new line that reflects the rebels'
significant territorial gains since then….
"We demand an unconditional
peace," Poroshenko said. "We demand a cease-fire, a withdrawal of all
foreign troops, and closing of the border.... We will find a compromise within
the country."
Later, in comments carried by
Interfax-Ukraine news agency, Poroshenko
said he was "ready to impose martial law across the country if we are not
able to reach an agreement in Minsk."
So will the U.S. nuke Russia? Will Russia continue to send humanitarian
aid, thwarting Kiev’s stated policy of starvation, murder, internment camps,
rape and torture? I guess the Devil is
in the Details.
