After
I read the article in News Doctors entitled ‘RAND Corporation “Action Plan”
For Eastern Ukraine Includes Ground Assaults, Air Strikes, Internment Camps And
On-The-Spot Execution For Anyone Resisting Relocation’, I have felt as though I were hit by a sledge
hammer.
Every conflict since the overthrow of the U.S.
government in 2000, foreign or domestic, is a result of the RAND Corporation. It’s time for RAND to be charged with crimes
against humanity.
The people who came to power after the 2000 coup all
have ties to RAND. The Project for a New
American Century’s “Clean Break Strategy for Netanyahu” that calls for endless apartheid
of the Palestinians or the “Action Plan” for Poroshenko to cleanse the
Ukrainian people of Russian speaking citizens, it’s all RAND Corp.
So when I read this article in MD International
Holdings entitled 'US too embarrassed to advocate war crimes to Ukraine,
subcontracts job to RAND' it made me feel ill.
From MDInternational Holdings:

'US too embarrassed to advocate war
crimes to Ukraine, subcontracts job to RAND'
Srdja
Trifkovich: Two
points. First of all, I am not shocked at all that Poroshenko is receiving
instructions from Washington. In fact, all along it seemed pretty obvious that
the likes of Victoria Nuland were dictating the pace of events in Kiev even as
the so-called EuroMaidan was turning into terrorist Maidan and the Right Sector
Maidan.
What is
really interesting is that an institution such as RAND would be hired by the
powers inside the Washington beltway to do a scenario, game playing for them,
which indicates that in spite of all thousands of billions or trillions of
dollars spent over decades on national security and intelligence the government
itself is not up to the task.
Indeed, it is interesting that the
US Government would hire an institution such as RAND to do scenario and game
playing for them. I wonder how much that
cost us in continuous military engagement for the profits of RAND. ML Holdings isn’t the only one wondering why
RAND Corp is calling the shots in Ukraine.
From Russia Times Op Ed:
Excerpt:
‘Guidelines for
genocide is US prime export product’
A memorandum, recently leaked to
online media, suggested surrounding eastern Ukrainian cities and placing
citizens in internment camps. The document bears a logo of RAND corporation
think-tank, but the company denies producing such a report.
While the authenticity of the
document could not be independently verified, anti-war activist and journalist
Don Debar told RT the guidelines amount to “serial war crimes” some
of which are already happening on the ground.
RT: What do you make of
this leak? How realistic does it sound?
Don Debar: Well actually
knowing something about RAND Corporation, that is where reports credit the
memo, it rings very true. RAND Corporation in the 1950s, for example, was
contracted to take a look at the emerging political power of minorities in the
cities. People were learning, as they got concentrated at the ghettos, people
actually learned that they could accumulate political power, elect people to
Congress, and state legislators and things. And this became a problem for the
status quo.
So RAND basically advised them to
destroy neighborhoods, scatter the populations to the four corners of the
region and thereby decimate political power. And urban renewal accomplished
that. As far as its coming from RAND it is quite credible to me, it is the kind
of work that they engage in.
RT: What do we know about RAND Corporation, how influential is it? Does it still have the ear of the US government?
DD: Yes, my understanding is that they advise the Pentagon to this day,
yes.
Chilling isn’t it, that destroying neighborhoods, scattering
populations is the kind of work RAND engages in. Think about it, RAND Corporation was the
architect of the Iraq War and “Shock and Awe” that they had planned for
years.
RT: Do you
think that this kind of advice could be taken seriously by Kiev?
DD: First of all
what is going on on the ground does resemble the memo very much. It talks about
in the bullet points, that first they should, you know one of the benefits of
the military operation against the people in the east, would be that it would
decimate political leadership and it would scatter political constituency,
disorganize it, so there would be no opposition political force. So that is the
first thing.
Yes, that’s what
RAND did in the U.S. divide and conquer, Democrat against Republican, rich
against poor, ethnic group against ethnic group.
The second step, the second benefit it claims, is the
destruction of the coal mining industry there, which would eliminate
“subsidies” in other word the need to pay the workers and the pensions for the
people from the coal mines.
The third thing is that the destruction of the industry that
would result in the east would mean that there would be less demand for Russian
energy. And these are the kinds of things that they say are benefits. And they
say forth that they can blame all of this on the intransigents of the east
Ukrainian activists.
Is RAND responsible
for the destruction of industry in the United States that led to the
destruction of pension plans? Is RAND
responsible in the United States for the birth of a war based economy and the unprecedented
erosion of our rights. The Federal
Reserve Bank printed up billions of dollars for war and saddled the American
people with trillions of debt.
So this is what my country exports. There was a time in
history when the US exported cars, food, and all kinds of manufactured goods,
and what they called the good old American know-how. And now what they export
are basically guidelines for genocide.
RT: Should this
plan of action be verified, how significant would this become?
DD: Well, it looks
to me like a war-crime, or perhaps serial war crimes. What is being advocated
are war crimes. You are talking about
genocide, the enforced removal of the population, directly caused by, with an
intent, by the military operation. And then some kind of group accountability
for those that remained, being assumed to be the enemy, terrorists and such. It
is criminal on so many levels.
Eerily in Gaza, Netanyahu is carrying out the genocide plan
prepared for him by RAND. According to
the “Clean Break Strategy” of the New American Century:
This paper provides an overview of the policy implementation
of “A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm”. (http://www.israeleconomy.org/strat1.htm) Some of the events and trends that
contribute to success or failure of the plan predate ACB by many years.
And although many ACB authors ascended to new heights of
political power in the U.S., the success or failure of the policies cannot be
solely ascribed to them. However, ACB policies are, for the most part,
extremely damaging to U.S. interests...
The paper’s call for a “break” from failed policies of the
past such as “land for peace” and a new concentration on the realities of
“balance of power” in the region are striking for their realpolitik approaches
and high dependence on actions and resources of the U.S. government.
The hostile attitude of the Project for a New American
Century toward the people of Palestine and the people of Israel is so revolting
on so many levels. Netanyahu will continue to slaughter the Palestinians until
the world steps forward to stop him. From HC Press:
Excerpt:
Palestinians have been stripped of civil liberties, robbed of
their land and homes, limited in their movements, limited in trading and
business, trapped in open air prisons. Palestinians in Gaza live in conditions
like the Nazis imposed on Jews in their ghettos.
Palestinians often lack clean water and food. Their homes are
arbitrarily destroyed. They don’t have reliable access to medical care. There’s
massive unemployment. They’re dehumanized in racist rants by their occupiers as
sub-human criminals, and terrorists; Israel’s version of apartheid denies
freedom, with separate, very unequal facilities/laws in countless aspects of
daily life. America ignores this truth…
Israel is attacking people that have no army, navy, air
force, no tanks, and no heavy artillery: Israel pretends that this
indiscriminate slaughter is a war but only those self-deluded supporters of
Israel are fooled. Gaza is Israel’s Warsaw ghetto.
Hamas proposed a 10 year truce/cease fire. The conditions proposed by Hamas are
reasonable and could lead to lasting peace.
But RAND Corp.’s genocide plan for Palestine does not allow for a peace
agreement. From Mondoweiss:
Excerpt:
Much less noticed
by the Western media was that Hamas and Islamic Jihad had meanwhile proposed a 10 year truce on the basis of 10 – very reasonable –
conditions…
The main demands of this proposal revolve around lifting the
Israeli siege in Gaza through the opening of its borders with Israel to
commerce and people, the establishment of an international seaport and airport
under U.N. supervision, the expansion of the permitted fishing zone in the Gaza
Sea to 10 kilometers, and the revitalization of Gaza industrial zone.
None of these demands is new. The United Nations among others
have repeatedly demanded the lifting of the siege, which is illegal under international
law, as a necessary condition to end the dire humanitarian situation in the
Strip.
Don’t forget
folks, RAND Corporation is calling the shots in Gaza and according to the
article above called ‘Guidelines for genocide
is US prime export product’:
So RAND basically advised them to
destroy neighborhoods, scatter the populations to the four corners of the
region and thereby decimate political power. And urban renewal accomplished
that. As far as its coming from RAND it is quite credible to me, it is the kind
of work that they engage in.
An if that’s not chilling enough, this should scare the shit
out of you, an interview with Seymour Hersch in Zero Hedge ‘Obama Red Line and
Rat Line’ and RAND’s plan for Syria:
Excerpt:
Obama had foolishly drawn a “red
line” on Syrian use of chemical weapons in a civil war which was already
engulfed in bloody savagery from both sides. So the Turks decided to call
his bluff, and enable their main rebel ally, the jihadist al-Nusra Front, to
stage a false flag attack with what was known to be the signature weapon in
Assad’s Soviet supplied chemical weapons arsenal– the deadly sarin gas.
Seymour Hersh explains in chapter
and verse, based on a DIA secret report among other high level sources,
how this abomination unfolded, and became the horrific gas attack in
Ghouta on August 21, 2013…
In the aftermath of the 21 August
attack Obama ordered the Pentagon to draw up targets for bombing. Early in the
process, the former intelligence official said, ‘the White House rejected 35
target sets provided by the joint chiefs of staff as being insufficiently
“painful” to the Assad regime.’
The original targets included only
military sites and nothing by way of civilian infrastructure. Under White
House pressure, the US attack plan evolved into ‘a monster strike’: two
wings of B-52 bombers were shifted to airbases close to Syria, and navy
submarines and ships equipped with Tomahawk missiles were deployed. ‘Every day
the target list was getting longer,’ the former intelligence official told me…
It became huge.’ The new target
list was meant to ‘completely eradicate any military capabilities Assad had’, the
former intelligence official said. The core targets included electric power
grids, oil and gas depots, all known logistic and weapons depots, all known
command and control facilities, and all known military and intelligence
buildings.
At the eleventh hour Obama backed down when General
Dempsey said flat out no—and then lied that he had changed
his mind after a walk around the White House with his clueless chief of staff.
The foolish incumbent in the White House and his clownish Secretary of
State, the man with the big head of hair and self-evidently not much
underneath, then had to suffer the indignity of being rescued from their
disastrous schemes and misadventures by Vladimir Putin.
Christ, General Dempsey had to tell an emotionally 13 year-old Obama, no. That’s right the only thing that saved America
from RAND Corporation’s horrific plan for Syria was Vladimir Putin and General
Dempsey.
You know these RAND Corp people are
on all the media outlets claiming that Putin has a cold war mentality. In reality it is RAND Corporation and their
handmaidens in the Executive Branch, Judicial Branch and the U.S. Senate have a
cold war mentality.
The lesson of the U.S.S. Cole
bombing was “my $20 dinghy can take down your billion dollar destroyer.” And yet all responses of this dinosaur group
called RAND is massive military hardware attacks on innocent people. Shock and awe.
So when Srdja Trifkovich asked the question “why would the U.S. Government contract with RAND
for strategic planning”, I ask why, indeed?
Back to the MD article:
The second important point to make
is that RAND, and this would not be the first time that it has been used in
this way, it is a remnant of the old Cold War think-tankery, so to say, and
what is particularly interesting is that the steps that they have suggested are
not particularly innovative. It is really the old Cold War regime [methods].
Remember Donald Rumsfeld’s “old
Europe” comments.
From Book Forum:
Although RAND
has arguably been the most influential nongovernmental policy organization in
American history, until Alex Abella’s Soldiers of Reason there was no
comprehensive history of its inner workings, presumably because RAND preferred
it that way.
However, Abella
was granted unprecedented access to the RAND archives—save the top-secret
material, of which one imagines there is bales. Having granted access, one
staffer added that “agreeing to this book was either the brightest or the
dumbest move RAND had ever made.”
How it could be
the brightest move is hard to figure, but how it could be the dumbest is
unfathomable. After all, these are the people who helped bring us, among other
things, the cold war, the arms race, the Vietnam War, the neutron bomb,
Operation Rolling Thunder, Reaganomics, the S&L crisis, our health-care
system, the mujahideen, the Iraq war, and, most famously, the sunny, sanguine
ethos that shone on America’s postwar years: mutually assured destruction.
Even as
Eisenhower warned in his farewell address against the “military-industrial
complex,” what would become its most assertive avatar was gestating in the
bowels of his administration (a mixed metaphor, but intentionally so). The
precise combination of defense contractors, government officials, and academics
that Ike regarded as so pernicious was taking shape at RAND, then the in-house
think tank of the US Air Force.
Where does America stand in the
world since the takeover of our government by RAND Corporation? Is America respected and the beacon of
light? No, this is RAND Corporations’
America. From Truth out:
The historian who chronicles US
Empire, William
Blum, issued his 130th Anti-Empire Report this week. In it he notes that the US, by far,
is seen by the people of the world as “the greatest threat to peace in the
world today” with 24% taking that view. Only 2% see Russia as such a threat,
and 6% see China.
This should not come as a surprise
since, as this map shows, much of
the world has been bombed, had their democratically chosen government
overthrown and has been occupied by the United States. Blum follows these
interventions closely and has reported that since the end of World War II, the
United States has:
·
Attempted to overthrow more
than 50 foreign governments, most of which were democratically-elected.
·
Dropped bombs on the
people of more than 30 countries.
·
Attempted to assassinate more
than 50 foreign leaders.
·
Grossly interfered in democratic elections in at least 30
countries, according to Chapter 18 of his book Rogue State: A Guide to the World’s Only Superpower.
It seems the people of the world are
factually correct when they label the United States the greatest threat to
peace in the world.
Yet, despite this mass public
opinion about the United States, US leaders seem oblivious. As Blum points out,
Secretary of State John Kerry said: “In my travels as secretary of state, I
have seen as never before the thirst for American leadership in the world.”
Yes, Kerry all the world is thirsting for American intervention. But, all the world except for the United States
knows that RAND Corporation’s America is the greatest threat to peace. You may wonder, how can it be that America
cannot see what has happened, where are the press? From Politico, Obama and RAND’s most
compliant lapdog:
Excerpt:
Barack
Obama locks out the press — again
SAN FRANCISCO — President Barack
Obama went to the West Coast to meet donors from two top Democratic super PACs,
but the press wasn’t invited.
Tuesday, the reporters and
photographers traveling with the president on Air Force One and in his
motorcade were left on the gravel path not even within sight of former Costco
CEO Jim Sinegal’s house in the Seattle suburbs where Obama sat for a Senate
Majority PAC fundraiser with a $25,000 entrance fee.
Yes the poor whore press was left on a gravel path, not even within
sight of the party. What a bitter pill,
after all those times the press went down, just for access to the cool kids
table.
Wednesday morning, when he met with
big donors for the House Majority PAC at the Four Seasons hotel in downtown San
Francisco, they weren’t even told what
room or floor he was on.
We think these fundraisers ought to be open to at least some scrutiny, because the president’s participation in them is fundamentally public in nature,” said Christi Parsons, the new president of the White House Correspondents’ Association. “Denying access to him in that setting undermines the public’s ability to independently monitor and see what its government is doing. It’s of special concern as these events and the donors they attract become more influential in the political process.”
Despite constant complaints from the
press corps and promises from White House officials, access to the president
continues to be limited. The constantly repeated line that they’re running the
“most transparent administration in history” tends to prompt snickers. Halfway
through Obama’s West Coast swing, it’s tipping toward outrage.
Oooh, it’s tipping towards outrage. You, the press, sold out America for access,
fame and a Hollywood lifestyle. You are worse than Monica Lewinski on the rope line. You wait for the smallest recognition and you
are willing to sacrifice any morals or dignity to experience that rush. But you had an obligation to America to
report facts, information good or bad but you were too busy trying to gain
access.
Your failure has done unthinkable damage to our nation, a
government run by a think tank that controls all levers of government aiming
for a new world order.
While you were busy with your Hollywood studded parties and
roasts, you ignored the RAND memo “Action Plan for Poroshenko.” Where were you when journalists were being
indicted for reporting on government malfeasance? You ridiculed Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi,
and every journalist that was actually doing investigative reporting.
You’ve been dumped, you’re just a whore dumped on a gravel path
without even a glimpse of the mansion where the party is taking place. It would be sweet justice if the price
America and the world have paid weren’t so high.
So the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that corporations are people,
so indict the RAND Corporation for crimes against humanity. Along with the RAND Corporation charge
co-conspirators John Kerry, Joe Biden and Victoria Nuland. That would begin the “mop up” phase of the
retaking of America.
