And The Lion Shall Lay With The Lamb

When preachers speak of the lion and the lamb lying down together, they are referring to the time of peace when Jesus will reign as King over the earth.

Is Putin the lion and is Pope Francis the lamb?  If one were to watch C-Span or Fox News, you would believe that Bashar Al Assad is the “Hitler of our time”. 

I was born in 1950, the cusp of the baby boom.  My mother was a war bride from Belgium; she had survived the occupation of Belgium by Hitler’s Nazis.  My father was a war hero and had received special commendation from France for his bravery on D-Day.  Neither of my parents spoke much about the war, and I only learned of my father’s bravery after his death. 

So when people throw around allegations like Assad is the new Hitler, I see people who are opportunists who use those types of comparisons to shame/scare people into furthering their nefarious world domination agendas.  Make no mistake, there was only one Hitler.

The allegations that Assad has used Sarin gas to gas his own people, just doesn’t make any sense.  First of all, Assad is not a religious zealot like you find in some middle eastern countries; he’s really quite westernized, much like King Abdullah II of Jordan.  He was educated in the West and is married to a Brit.  King Abdullah of Jordan’s wife Queen Rania is a Palestinian.

Assad is winning the civil war in Syria and has been.  He had no reason to use chemical weapons and did not stand to win anything by using them.  On the other hand, the PNAC backed rebels are losing the war and need intervention by the US to supply them with arms and backup to tip the scales to overthrow Assad, a PNAC dream. 

The PNAC members in congress needed a “Pearl Harbor” moment to persuade the American people to back an attack on Syria and to overthrow Assad.  They have every reason to use chemical weapons to turn the tide in their direction.

I have been hearing a lot about Wesley Clark’s 2007 statement that PNAC members had a plan to overthrow 7 middle eastern countries in 5 years.  I had not heard that before so I found the You Tube video.

Just like Wesley Clark said, they have used the 9-11 attacks to take over our government and proceed with their imperialist agenda that was written long before the attack on our country.

PNAC had shifted into high gear beating the drums of war against Assad in Syria.  There has been a meeting of the minds of liberals and libertarians like Nick Gillespie of Reason magazine and Congressman Alan Grayson, trying to stop these lunatics that have taken over our country’s foreign policy.

All the plans were laid out and ready to go.  Obama laid the “red line”, the allegations of use of Sarin was laid out by John Kerry; Cameron in the UK was set to go and then “kaboom”.  Britain’s parliament said, “no this is too crazy for us”.

Now Bill Kristol, Charles Krauthammer, the Neocons and Zionists had to kick it up a notch.  They along with Obama were going to strike Syria no matter what.  There was no stopping them.

Obama said “We're going after the Syrians — whether the Russians like it or not”.     

 

So when Obama went to the G20 Summit, the Pope had a little surprise for him.

“Pope writes to Putin urging him to tell Obama and other G20 leaders to oppose Syria strike and pray for a peaceful solution”

The Pope has written to the Russian President urging him to tell President Obama and other world leaders at the G20 summit to oppose a strike in Syria. 

The letter was the latest in a series of moves by Pope Francis to prevent involvement in Syria's bloody civil war. 

He has sent tweets condemning a potential war and declared today a day of fasting and prayer for peace in the war-torn country, according to Time.

But, that did not deter Obama, he still insisted on a strike against Syria.  The war was on baby, screw the peace loving Pope and Putin.  We’re still going, even if we go alone.

So Obama sent out his minions to sell the attack on Syria, he went on an interview blitz to sell his war.  He scheduled Tuesday night, the eve of the 9-11 anniversary to sell his bombing raid of Syria, but oops.  John Kerry screwed up.

So, on a serious note, this is a real chance for the United States to work with Russia to get control over the chemical weapons in the middle east and work towards a real, viable peaceful solution.  Thanks to Pope Francis and Vladimir Putin, this is the most positive move toward world peace we have seen in a very long time.  We may, achieve peace in spite of Obama and PNAC.
