Pope Francis Calls on Christians and People of Faith to Stop Nobel Peace Prize Winner From Killing Again

It is a pretty sad state of affairs, when the Pope has to beg people of faith to stop the Nobel Peace Prize Winner from killing again.  The fact that the Pope is imploring ex-KGB Vladimir Putin to stop the U.S. from killing again, is beyond words.

"Last Sunday, Pope Francis spoke out in anguish for the victims of a chemical weapons attack in Syria. But he strongly opposes a Western military intervention saying, war begets war, violence begets violence.

"In a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leaders of the G-20 countries, the pope asked them to lay aside the futile pursuit of a military solution and to speedily enact initiatives promoting peace through negotiations.

"In addition to tonight's four–hour-long vigil, Francis has urged Christians, believers of other faiths as well as all people of goodwill to join him in fasting for peace in Syria."

“Syria and its allies, including Russia, have said there is no evidence that the nation attacked its own citizens — and have warned of the dangers of further destabilizing the sensitive Middle East.

Warnings have also come from U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who said Friday, "I must warn that ill-considered military action could cause serious and tragic consequences, and with an increased threat of further sectarian violence."

At the same time the Pope pleads for a peaceful solution, America’s Chief War Monger, wanting to save face, no matter how many women, children and men will be killed in his latest crime against humanity, pleaded his case for more war, more pain, more suffering.

In his radio address, Obama said failing to respond to the attack would threaten U.S. national security by increasing the chance of future chemical attacks from the Syrian government, terrorist groups, or other nations. The United States said more than 1,400 people were killed, including hundreds of children.

"We are the United States of America. We cannot turn a blind eye to images like the ones we've seen out of Syria," he said.

Funny how he “cannot turn a blind eye to images like the ones we’ve seen out of Syria” and yet "he can turn a blind eye to images of American atrocities under his drone strike program".  This is the bloodiest president we have ever had, and after W. Bush, that says a lot.

So let’s take a look at the victims of his violent drone attacks that he “can turn a blind eye to”.

So get ready for the onslaught on the Sunday Morning talk shows of the case for killing Syrian women, men and children by the U.S.  Because if we kill the children, it's OK.
